Intermark’s staff & departments?

Intermark Automotive’s team consists of Account Services, Creative, Administrative, Interactive, Public Relations, Strategic Planning, Traffic, and Media. Intermark Automotive is a 30+ year old automotive advertising agency which currently handles marketing communications responsibilities for approximately 110 dealers coast-to-coast. The Individual Dealer Group has 40 employees who handle roughly $25M in billing out of 4 regional offices.

The following list gives you an idea of how accounts are managed from division to division.

Account Services
The Account Manager acts as the day-to-day contact for the dealership. The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to construct, implement and maintain advertising plans for the dealership. Since we are a full service agency, the Account Manager’s role is to handle every aspect of your advertising needs from soup to nuts. The Account Executive reports to the Account Manager and serves as an additional point of contact between the dealership and the agency while processing all pertinent paperwork and fulfillment for each task at hand. Our Account Services team has the experience, knowledge and commitment to service our clients successfully at all levels.

Creative
Our Creative team consists of 16 writers, producers and artists. Our Creative team has over 75 years of combined automotive experience and is experienced in the production of multi-media advertising campaigns for national, regional and local dealers. Annual reports, brochures, three-dimensional sales kits, direct mail, point- of-purchase, television commercials, print ads, radio spots and digital marketing banner ads are among the creative solutions we employ for our dealers. Strategic Planning/Research
The Strategic Planning and Research team works closely with Account Services to develop on-target marketing plans. Research is an important investment for your success, and our Strategic Planning team has the access to all industry databases and proprietary agency research tools to ensure that your dealership plans are efficient and effective. We believe consistent research and implementation is the root of our client’s success, especially if establishing an initial plan upfront or even before a new campaign launches.

Media Services
We have a dedicated and experienced Media team with an in-house staff of 16 professionals. Your individual account will be serviced by the Media Director, Senior Media Buyer and Assistant Media Buyer. Our buyers look at a number of things when determining which media will be most effective for each individual client. Our media team customizes media buys based on your market and geographic area. This targeted study and analysis includes DMA population, race and gender and zip code analysis. Ultimately, we want our goals to be perfectly aligned with your goals.

Digital Media
Our Digital Media Department consists of a dedicated Digital Media Director, Digital Media Planner and a Digital Media Buyer Assistant. Our Digital Media team specializes in creating and implementing interactive solutions that produce measurable ROI for our clients. Gulf States Toyota
Intermark Group, in partnership with the Moran Group, is proud to be the agency of record for Gulf States Toyota (GST). GST is one of only two Toyota distributorships in the United States. Through its 170 – dealer network, GST is responsible for all Toyota sales and marketing in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana. Gulf States Toyota’s main reason for existing is to sell Toyota’s faster within their 5-State region than the rest of the country. GST is serviced through field offices in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Baton Rouge. GST boasts the #1 Truck region in the U.S.

Sonic Automotive
Intermark Group is the agency of record for the publicly held Sonic Automotive for the following regions and markets: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nashville, Birmingham, and Florida. Intermark Group services these accounts through field offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and the main office in Birmingham.

1977
Agency engages first automotive account, Pat Peck Nissan

1977-1987
Agency works with dozens of automobile dealers across the country.

1985-1987
Agency picks up the State of Ohio Nissan dealers. Agency picks up first Chevrolet dealer ad association, the Jacksonville, Florida Chevrolet Dealers.

1987-1998
Agency picks up additional Chevrolet dealer associations.

1995-1998
Agency becomes a General Motors “Select Agency,” acquiring four area marketing groups (700 Chevrolet dealers) in the Northeast, Midwest, South and Mid-South.

1998
General Motors discontinues AMG advertising format. Strong Automotive changes its name to The Intermark Group.

1998-1999
Import Marketing Services, an Intermark Group company, handles 20 Southeast Toyota dealer associations until 2000, when SET elects to go to a distributor agency format.

1999-2003
Intermark Group is hired by Gulf States Toyota, distributor for Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Oklahoma (170 dealers).

2003-2006
Intermark Group partners with The Moran Group to form Group2, and becomes agency of record for Gulf States Toyota.

2005-2006
The Intermark Group becomes Agency of record for the publicly held Sonic Automotive in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nashville, Birmingham and Florida.

Present:
Intermark Group currently works with 170 Toyota dealers in five states and 110 individual and publicly held dealerships nationwide.
